Short version: we only use your details to plan and run your tour. We don't sell them, we don't send marketing you didn't ask for, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Who we are
This website is run by Tuk Tuk Tours Colombo by Janaka (Jana), a small tour business in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

What we collect, and why
When you message us on WhatsApp
When you message us, we see your name and phone number as shown in WhatsApp, and whatever you tell us: your dates, how many of you there are, where you're staying, and anything else you mention, such as food allergies. We use this only to answer your questions, plan your tour, confirm it with you the day before and pick you up. After your tour, we may send one message to say thank you and to share a link where you can leave a review if you'd like to.
WhatsApp is run by Meta, and your messages are also covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
When you visit this website
This website doesn't have a contact form or user accounts.
Our website host, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs (like IP address and browser type) for a short time to keep the site secure and working.
Photos on tour
If photos are taken of you during a tour, we will only use a photo of you on this website or our social media if you have agreed to it.
Who else sees it
Nobody, apart from the services we need to run the business: WhatsApp (Meta) for messages and our website host (Cloudflare). We don't sell or rent your details, and we don't share them with other tour companies or advertisers.
How long we keep it
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, including any photo of you we've used. Just send us a WhatsApp message. If we've used a photo of you and you'd like it taken down, we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
